Apple's Airport series of routers are different from others, in that they use NAT-PMP instead of UPnP. Hop supports both configuration protocols, so Airports will work with Hop.
Airports generally come with NAT-PMP enabled. If you need to re-enable it, you can do so with the Airport Utility applicaiton on your Mac.
